"What a wonderful place! Impeccably clean and such attention to detail. This place has more amenities than most homes. The owners live on the property close to the cottage/barn dominium. But nobody bothered us, it was very private and quiet. Price was great too, would recommend it to anyone!"

"We stayed here in November, large bedrooms, lots of space inside and out. Last night we watched a deer across the yard. (staring contest, we lost). Went for lots of walks. Close enough to town to get there easily, but far enough away also. Lake is right outside the property."

"We had a wonderful stay, even better than expected. House was very clean, kitchen was well appointed, all furniture and beds were very comfortable. Lots of thought put into the details and finishes. Hosts were very quick to answer any questions I had and gave good recommendations. Fully stocked coffee bar was a hit! We came to ride the trails and were able to get on right from the house. We would come back again in a heart beat. Thanks for the great stay Joe!"

"Perfect place to stay and ride. Plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers and quick access to trails. Birchwood has lots of options for dining and legion next door is convenient for quick meal. My family has stayed multiple ttimes and we will definitely be back"

"The cabin was wonderfully tucked into the tall pines with a great view of the lake. We loved watching the fabulous sunsets off the deck and enjoyed the evenings down by the fire pit right near the water’s edge. John was great to deal with. He was very responsive to all our questions, and made it a breeze to check in and out. We found the cabin to have everything we needed for a long weekend. "Our second stay, looking forward to our third!!"

"This was our second time staying at the house for a relaxing weekend with family. We ended up not using the pool this time but did use the grill and kitchen which are have plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. The house had plenty of space for everybody and was perfect for spending time with family. It was a warm weekend and the air conditioning worked great."

"Our family gathered at this Great Lake home and had the most wonderful time! The cabin is set up great-the kitchen is stocked with what we needed, there’s fun board games, the deck space was phenomenal, the sunroom our favorite spot. The deck was fantastic too! Fun beach area for our littles and the lake is peaceful and so pretty. Great spot for grilling and fantastic grill! Comfy beds! Highly recommend!"

"We were looking for a nice cozy cabin to spend a weekend away from the world for a bit and this place was perfect. The atmosphere was excellent, the weather was stormy for a stay-cation away from home. Communication with the host was excellent, everything went well. I think our favorite memory of the cabin was enjoying a beer cheese soup lunch in heavy rain out on the covered patio during the afternoon's thunder and lightning."

"It is an interesting property with lots of outdoor deck space. Inside there is a comfortable living room. The beds are older and not made to support someone who is 200 lb or more (I purchased a blow up air mattress). The kitchen is well provisioned. I was there for work so did not explore the lake, it looks a bit swampy near the house. You need to bring your own boat to do this."
