"Nice, large space. Beach view was stunning. Loved the pool, wish there was a hot tub. Washer/Dryer in the unit. Not many food options. Bathroom showers could use a good cleaning. The snake on the porch was a bit scary but they sent someone over right away to take care of it. "

"The best of both worlds! This property is stunning, and it really offered the best of both worlds. We were able to experience resort-style amenities and service, while enjoying the space of an AirBnB. Our suite was huge and gave us ample room to enjoy ourselves. It was nice to be able to cook some meals in the suite, although they could definitely stand to upgrade their kitchenware. The pool is huge, and we really enjoyed the swim-up bar. The restaurant sits right on the water, and we were really impressed with the food there. The service is top-notch from the bar to the housekeeping staff. *A note about the location: Placencia is a lot bigger than I realized. This property is in an area that is mostly just resorts and a handful of restaurants. A little further South is Maya Beach, which is quite nice. If you want to actually visit Placencia Village, it's a good 20-30 minute drive. So this is the perfect location for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. But if you want to be in the heart of Placencia, go further South. "

"We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. There are only two real beds, so one of our children slept on the couch. There is also an air mattress that we didn't use. The house was clean and ample drinking water was provided. It is an easy walk to the restaurants at the nearby resorts, but to get to the Hopkins village I would recommend a car, golf cart, or bike if you like a little ride. Everyone in the village is super friendly and we ate delicious food there. We loved our stay here! "
