"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway from city life! Surrounded by beautiful nature and in total isolation, the cabin is a picturesque vacation spot for relaxation and peacefulness. We took advantage of the fireplace, the hot tub, gorgeous nature views, and the extensive VHS collection. The ideal weekend getaway spot for a couple or small group. So cozy! Will be returning again! "One of the most "loggy" log cabins I've ever visited! Location has great mountain views, lots of outdoor deck space, and a great layout. Two bedrooms upstairs, one ground level, and one semi-basement room give plenty of room for spreading out. Really well stocked kitchen and nicely decorated home!"

No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking."

"This is a secluded adorable log cabin off the beaten path. Just what we needed for some quiet down time. Yet close enough to town to visit family. It was clean and well stocked. The decorations for fall were superior. The clean, well kept landscaped and fire pit area were great. Be prepared to drive down a dirt road. (well kept) And keep an eye out for the sign that says “Cozy Log Cabin”. You cant see the house until after you turn into the unpaved driveway."

"Two cabins on property. The photos they advertise are of the main cabin. Basically zero communication had to figure which one was my cabin on my own. Still a cute place to stay, just needs clear communication and show the second cabin or give option to choose which one."

"The A-frame itself was cozy and well-stocked, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. We slept very well up in the loft, with the sound of the Skykomish lulling us to sleep. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. But the real star of this show was the jaw-dropping scenery. To be surrounded by soaring jagged peaks and high forested ridges, with the turquoise river churning by, was awe-inspiring."
