Took us 1 hour 45 minutes to walk up (about 1 hour 30 minutes to walk down). Steady uphill climb.
The gondola will take you up to the top. congratulations, you are now at the top of the world. going down is a bummer by comparison.
Go up early to enjoy spectacular view of mountains and clouds
Hiking up to the Gondola is sometimes strenuous but worth the effort. Be prepared for a cool climate at the summit. On the day we hiked up, the light rain turned to snow by the time we reached the top.
Hiked in the morning, took the gondola in the evening. Enjoyed both!
