We had a comfortable and amazing stay. The innkeeper was extremely knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions to make our stay exactly what we wanted . Breakfast was delicious and varied each day and included fresh local ingredients. The grounds were stunning and well cared for. And we were lucky to see the bittern one morning !! We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful B and B !

Beautiful

Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort).

Nous avons eu droit à un surclassement dans la nouvelle section de l’hôtel. La chambre était bien aménagée et assez spacieuse. La lumière naturelle abondante vu la porte patio arrière qui donne sur la rivière. Il y avait quelques cheveux dans la douche, mais sinon la propreté de la chambre était bien. Les lits sont confortables. Nous nous sommes bien amusés au mini golf et avons mangé quelques plats rapides au restaurant du bowling. La nourriture était bonne. Le matin nous en avons profité pour manger quelques petites bouchées offertes par l’hôtel près du bureau à l’entrée. Les enfants ont apprécié faire leur choix. La piscine bénéficierait d’un bon nettoyage des rebords, des murs et du fond. Le chlore dans l’eau était quand même bien géré. Le personnel à l’entrée a été très serviable et poli.
