Lovely property and area. The rooms (all casitas) are stand-alone, private and spacious and have a wonderful sitting porch to experience the abundance of nature. The included breakfast buffet is delicious with a great variety and the ambiance cannot be beat. This spot was filling an accommodation gap, but we wish we stayed here longer. It was our favorite stay in the area (we’ve stayed 3 other places across all trips from 3 star to 5 star {shh of the country, fresh bodies of water, boing cha-ching). If you’re not looking for hot springs on site, consider this gem. We will for sure be back.

This is an incredible place to stay. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. The views are breathtaking, and the amenities are top-notch. There are over 20 pools, slides, a game room, and even access to Club Rio! The only downside is that the food is way overpriced for the quality. I didn’t find anything on the resort that met the value-for-money ratio. Despite this minor flaw, I would highly recommend this resort.

Our stay at Cielo Lodge was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience extra special. The food was another highlight of our trip — every meal was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The local ingredients and creative dishes gave us a true taste of Costa Rica, and dining with such breathtaking surroundings made it even more memorable. Cielo Lodge offers an amazing variety of activities, making it easy to experience the beauty and adventure of Costa Rica. Whether exploring nature, enjoying guided excursions, or simply relaxing and taking in the scenery, there was always something wonderful to do. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous — lush, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. What truly amazed us was the incredible wildlife surrounding the lodge. We saw colorful birds, monkeys, and so many beautiful animals right in their natural habitat. It felt like being immersed in a tropical paradise. If you are looking for a place that combines luxury, adventure, incredible food, outstanding service, and the superb wildlife of Costa Rica, Cielo Lodge is truly a hidden gem. We cannot wait to return.

This property was an absolute dream. The room was beautiful and the private hot tub was amazing. We had a wonderful time, and the staff was extremely helpful to book all of our excursions and to help us purchase tickets.

Room was clean with beautiful views. Very helpful and friendly staff. They had good recommendations on stuff to do and where to go. Pool area was clean. Breakfast was delicious and they have a good variety of stuff to try. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!
