The hotel was cleaned alright, but the facilities/rooms are not well maintained and although the staff was nice, they were not helpful. The air conditioning wasn’t working on our room (see picture: the AC unit wasn’t even installed properly) so we told front desk at around 5pm. At 2 am, it was still NOT working (on the middle of a heat wave). The front desk, different staff by now, told me to wait for 20mins. I’m not sure why because they didn’t have anyone to fix it. We ask for another room, but they said they didn’t have other rooms. As it got worse, over 85 degrees, we volunteered to sleep on the lobby because it was so hot in our room. Suddenly, there were 3 other rooms to pick from. Two of the rooms had broken door locks so we couldn’t use them. The 3rd room AC wasn’t working either but at least the fan was on, so it was a little cooler at 78, so we switched rooms. While we waited for over an hour in the lobby, we listened to other guests having similar issues: broken this, missing that, etc. We paid premium for this hotel for a terrible night. Also, we pre-paid in full, but the front desk charged us an additional money for the use of amenities (gym and pool) regardless of we using them. We are definitely not coming back nor we would recommend this hotel to anyone.
