“I enjoyed staying in this large grand hotel near the station for a very reasonable price. The compact room was a bit bigger than expected and the bathroom had a large bath with shower. I only stayed one night but was disappointed that it was advertised with an indoor pool yet that wasn't available due to renovation. Otherwise a very nice stay.”

“The location of Old Hall is excellent and this needs to be factored into the price you pay compared to other nearby hotels and the quality of them. Breakfast is fresh and tasty with enough variety and this is included in the price, which many aren't. This hotel offers comfort, my bed was fine, room was spacious. Floor are unlevel, of course they are, it is an old hotel, it has character reminiscent of days past, yes it's worn and needs renovation but to upgrade to meet everybody's needs...

“We loved our stay here, the staff in particular are superb, they couldn’t do enough to help us which was even more appreciated given that we had our toddler with us. The rooms are beautifully decorated, quiet and large. My only criticism is that there was a bit of black mould around the bath/shower in our bathroom which needs bleaching, otherwise everywhere was spotless. We will be back for sure.”

“We stayed for 1 night to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Our first impressions were that it had a lovely buzz about it and the hotel had been refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate and had all of the facilities one would expect.
