Tent and RV site on the James River at Stark Ranch Resort Site #1

Enjoy a relaxing time on the James River on our tent or RV camping sites!

Only 1.5 and 2.5 hours from Calgary and Edmonton respectively.

There are three very private sites available. All camping sites have no electric power or water. A shared outhouse is available for all 3 camping sites.

There is a picnic table, outdoor firepits and a waste bin. Firewood is available for purchase at booking or after check in and guests are welcome to bring their own.

With the river only a short walk away, enjoy the riverside, fishing, and rafting!

The land is quiet and serene, yet only 3km from the main highway.

The James River General Store is a large convenience store and gas station only 5 minutes away!

The town of Sundre is 20 minutes away and has everything you need, including a grocery store and golfing at the Sundre Golf Course.

Burnstick Lake as well as other numerous lakes are nearby and very popular for fishing and boating.

Guests have access to their site as well as the paths to the James River. There is an outhouse for all three camping sites

Camping starts in mid May and ends in October weather depending.

Camping Rates:

Sunday to Thursday nights: $35/night

Friday and Saturday nights: $50/night

Minimum 2 nights.

Maximum 4 guests

Prices based on double occupancy. $7/guest/night after 2 guests.

Pet fee $35/pet/stay. Maximum 2 pets.
