"We were so pleasantly surprised by the amenities at Ibis Styles City Center Zurich. There is a great 24 hour "convenience" store in the lobby for any extras you need food or otherwise. The check-was seamless and although we arrived early, Aldo at the front desk was able to get us into our room right away without an additional early check-in charge we found so irritating at other facilities. There is an amazing restaurant/bar right off the lobby, with stunning decor and a great food choice from breakfast through dinner. Breakfast is NOT included, but we didn't expect it to be. We ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and loved the service from Kersten and Eleonora, who went above and beyond. There is a very adequate fitness center with up to date equipment that has all "functions" working. Great little sauna, as well, all free to persons staying at the hotel. The location was within easy walking distance of the train station, and access to walks along the river in downtown Zurich. The room was comfortable (great shower) and had a very appealing modern decor, but the air circulation wasn't great for the air conditioning (we stayed during an extremely hot time). When we mentioned it at the desk, Aldo (again - great guy), grabbed us two fans for the room and that did the trick to keep things circulation. Window-door does open and has with motorized blinds but we kept the room closed to conserve the cool air. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend. "

"Took two hours to check in after which time they had to move me and many other guests to another building in order to get their automated key system to work. Then when I came back to my room I found in crawling with all kinds of bugs from ants to beetles to wasps. Then the customer service when confronted with this did their best to not give a refund. Never use this hotel."

"Fantastic venue and staff. Food was incredible and all were very welcoming. Support with transport, entertainment and landmarks from Silvana, Michael, Benet and Sala. All a credit to Alex Lake and made the visit thoroughly worth it and enjoyable."

"This hotel is just in front of the main HB station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. It’s easily accessible and tons of dining options around… our room was little outdated but was very quiet and had all the necessary items. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was a great stay and I will definitely come back.. "

"The renovations to this property are tremendous - wonderful set of improvements for a well situated, higher end experience in Santa Monica for a correctly priced hotel. Valet service is top notch- also especially nice are the new jacuzzi and downstairs food convenience~ and of course the restaurant and bar upstairs remain distinct city assets. Well done-"

"I liked the hotel but what really stood out to me was the bar tender on the main floor Maximillian. He was excellent in customer service really made us feel welcome and he was excellent at his craft. He was the highlight of our stay there and the rest of the bar staff was good too. "

"We had a great stay! The place feels almost brand new, with all the modern conveniences you could need. It's also very close to the S-Bahn stop Lijmbach, which made getting around super easy. There’s a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, which was really convenient. Our host gave us a warm welcome and responded quickly when I sent a message with a question. One small point to note is that the room got a bit warm during the day, but opening the window at night helped cool things down nicely. Overall, a lovely place and a great experience! "

"Very nice hotel right on the lake. Easy access to downtown Zurich by boat or train both of which are right by the property. Rooms are updated but small compared to American hotel rooms and no air conditioning. "
