The room is clean and spacious with standard amenities. The facilities are bad, outside the room the property seems like abandon. It’s a self check-in/out motel, nobody was there.

Just an over night business trip. When i arrived no one was at hotel desk they pulled up in a vehicle as i got there. There was black mold in the shower. Breakfast was not very appealing with very small selection .Nothing as seen on website. The building was as seen in pictures with a very appealing face lift.

The breakfast did not offer any healthy food. The cereal was awful and there was no fresh fruit—not even a banana. We had to replace the toilet paper ourselves. There was on fro in the drawer and a couple spoons. The young woman who showed us how to use the TV was polite and efficient.

Nothing fancy

The place was decent. Pillows need replaced. Turned in dirty towels (4) and only 1 clean towel was replaced. The breakfast area was closed. No coffee. The room itself was nice. Roomy . Had full kitchen . Dont expect much. But ..not the worst either.

Nice

All the places where you need to touch needed cleaning door handles, remote control, ect. The bed was not comfortable at all. But the place is nice and quiet.

Room was suppose to be two queen and it was queen and full ! Room had been repainted and there was paint left on everything , ie bath vanity , sink, floor .

this is a nice little lodge all rooms have direct outside access and the front desk staff was very friendly. its on a busy street and they don't provide soap or shampoo but there was a little kitchenette and the room was big, comfortable. the property is conveniently located in Kennedy

At check in - no one at desk for 7 minutes. Finally show up. Never asked for ID or proof of credit card. Guessed my name when I said I had a reservation. Anyone could have charged that room to my card! Get to room - door wide open, ac taken apart. Go to front desk, no one to be found...again. Find maintenance guy, he puts ac back together. Get back to hotel late that night - keys won’t work. Go to front desk. Guess what? NO ONE THERE! A note in desk instructed us to call number. We call, tell them key won’t work. They direct us to a hidden master key that will open all room doors. NEVER ASKED FOR OUR NAME OR OUR ROOM NUMBER! Could have given any random person a master key to all rooms!!!!!! Picked this hotel because it had a pool - disappointed in how disgusting this pull was! So murky, you can’t even see the bottom of a 3 foot deep pool. Gross. Didn’t get to swim. The only time anyone was at the desk to help - had to go get towels. They only gave us 2 towels for a room that sleeps (and was reserved for) 4 people. Checkout - asked for late checkout, but housekeeping camped out outside our room, sitting right beside our door, talking loudly, starting at 11:30. So much for that. Went to voice all my concerns at checkout...if course no one was at the desk. So just left our keys in the room (including the master key from the night before!) and went home, completely frustrated with the entire experience. Don’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We reserved two rooms. One room needed a little maintenance attention and we brought it to the attention of the receptionist and they immediately offered to move us to another room but it was not something we needed to change rooms for. In addition to the rooms being very clean and spacious the facility was quiet and the staff friendly and very accommodating. The grounds were also well kept and breakfast fresh. We will definitely be back.

South Texas Friendly

Even with a large group of oil field workers staying there, it was a quiet place. The hotel was under new management and was in the process of providing an enhanced breakfast menu. Would have liked a bathtub but for our short stay it wasn’t necessary.

The space in the room was okay but the coffee cups that are provided in the room were dirty and stacked as if they were clean. The walls had stains and the shower also had a rust stain that was coming from the a/c unit thats above the shower in the ceiling. The hot water in the shower wasnt that hot either. My wife was awaken by the cleaning ladies’ loud laughter in the morning and also by the screechy carts that they were moving around. The a/c unit cant be put on fan only, you have to put it on cold or hot only.

Great place to stay.

Excellent accommodations. Bed was comfortable, amenities were better than adequate. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was okay. Early customers got the better of the buffet, but what was left was still okay.
