"This is a very cute traditional house located in a great spot in the historic centre. It is very quiet as there's no passing traffic. It is spacious and has good facilities and a nice view. The layout is a bit weird, but I'm sure that's the way these old houses are and it was nice to experience a more local way of life. There were a couple of negatives. The property is managed by an agent who communicates via WhatsApp in Italian and makes you do everything online. They want you to sign a contract in Italian (I didn't). There is no personal touch like recommendations and they sometimes take a while to get back to you. There was also nothing left in the kitchen for us e.g. no salt or pepper, no sugar, no oil or coffee. When I asked for this I was told it's not possible. This little touch would have been appreciated, especially as we were there for a week. We found street parking easily in streets nearby."

"Great hotel and close to everything. Staff and service were excellent. Room was very comfortable. The building is from the 13th century and was previously a nun convent. "

"We stayed in a family suite and it was spacious with 2 bedrooms and a living area and separate bathroom. The beds were comfortable and we were just a few minutes walk from the main square. It was really quiet in the street although we were so close to the centre. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon when it was at its hottest and made the mistake of walking up hill through all the little streets. Would recommend walking the much easier route through the main square and past the Park of Remembrance if you’re coming up from the bus stop! Also, you’ll need cash for the bus into town if you’re arriving by train. The breakfast had limited choice but was very nice and we were shown to our rooms by a friendly member of staff who showed us everything we needed. "
