“This cabin was very clean with great amenities. We had concerns of being that close to Hwy 168 but we really didn’t hear any road noise at all. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The toaster over and hot plate worked well to compensate for there being no oven.”

“The cabin is even better in person than in the photos… it is the sweetest coziest little place! Very clean and organized. The host has everything stocked for basic cooking. There is a washer and dryer. A barbecue and a table and fire pit on the patio. One of the nicest Places I have stayed in Shaver Lake. She also had the place decorated for the holidays. She was very communicative as well. I highly recommend this cozy cabin. We look forward to our next stay ⛄️”

“This place is so dang cute. The vintage artwork made me so happy. LOL. We stayed here during the week of Thanksgiving and fit 8 people and 4 dogs comfortably. The bedroom situation was perfect for my family with a queen bedroom and a kids room with 2 twin beds connected to ours. The yard with the fire pit was fun too. There's a small lake a short walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication with the host was great too. Would definitely stay here again.”

“My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). “We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but……

“This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

“This was a fun way to stay close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. You have to understand you are staying in an RV, not a hotel room. With that understood, it was wonderful. Plenty of room for two of us. We could store groceries to pack our lunch, spend the day hiking and come back to make a simple dinner. The host is lovely, attentive to any needs or questions, but lets you be as independent as you like. He provided thoughtful touches like Keurig coffee pods and fresh eggs. His……
