Tranquil 1 bedroom retreat with walk in shower The former stables and store has been tastefully updated to provide modern accommodation in a perfect rural setting, . Nestled in between Torquay and Teignmouth, The Stables @ Rosemary Cottage is a one double bedroom holiday accommodation that's both cosy and enormously inviting. The stable has been renovated specifically as a holiday retreat with everything you need for a great Devon getaway.

The clever open plan layout of this property means that everything is on hand from the smart kitchen*, the dining area or watching TV from the comfy sofa . The master bedroom has a welcoming kingsize bed and all the storage space (wardrobe/ chest of drawers, TV) you will need to keep your swimming costume, hiking clothes or relaxing 'comfy holiday clothes'.
A smart modern shower room has been provided - what better way to wind down after a busy (or lazy day) than with a hot shower.

You have your own outside seating area with a table and chairs that make it a tempting place to pass a couple of hours. This is also a fine spot from which to soak up the serene valley views under the warm summer sun or enjoy a glass of something on those balmy evenings.

Parking is on a private drive at the side of the cottage. Given the rural location, free wi-fi.

A 15 minute short walk away is the highly rated Church House Inn village pub in the centre of one of South Devon's most picturesque villages of Stokeinteignhead, with its thatched cottages and rural atmosphere. Opposite the pub is the volunteer run village shop to enable you to stock up on essential supplies and local produce, or the Thatched Tavern pub at Maidencombe along with the beach, cafe and paddleboard hire.
There are also many outdoor activities within the area including horse riding, golf and kayaking to name a few.

The stable is situated in an ideal location, whether you wish to make a short trip to the seaside or make it an active day on the South West Coast Path. You are just a few miles away from the spectacular views and walks on Dartmoor. For those who want some retail therapy you are close to the historic city of Exeter, the market town of Newton Abbot and the famous Torquay English Riviera and harbour.
