Welcome to the Barn at Merrydell. We invite you to come stay at the Barn. We are located in the foothills of North Carolina in a small community known as Traphill. We are five minutes from Stone Mountain State park. We offer a true country setting with beautiful views, peace and quite. Here one is able to fish, hike, golf or just relax.. We are minutes from the Thurmond Chatham game land, Blueridge Parkway and of course Stone Mountain. This area is also loaded with several vineyards. We are actually located in a renovated barn on a working farm.

This was our second trip to the amazing gem! This property offers a clean and beautiful home with unique features. It works perfectly for my handicapped mother and offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and Brussels of everyday life. Mary and Dale are amazing! Thank you for allowing us to experience your home!

It was CLEAN - gorgeous! A place i would definately consider going to stay for longer. We came to town for a wedding so we were not there for much other than to sleep, but would have LOVED to stay there for a few days to relax. The only complication was Expedia had the wrong destination in the email link but the hosts spoke to us directly (twice) to make sure we knew where to go and how to contact them with any issues ! LOVED IT

Great spot close to the state park!
Great find in the Traphill area! All enjoyed their stay. Host had great communication and place was very clean. Will definitely stay again when in the area!
