Beautiful full bay views! On Grand Traverse Bay minutes from Traverse City!

Located at Grand Traverse Resort’s beach club “The Shores" on East Grand Traverse Bay, just minutes from downtown Traverse City, this suite is a water and beach lover’s dream. The view is one of the best in the Resort! One of the few two bedroom, two bath condos available to rent.

Some of the pictures show grass near the water, but this was from a few summers ago. The beach is all beautiful sand right up to the water and great for swimming and relaxing!

Jet ski, paddle board and boat rentals are on site and available to rent through Blue Sky Rentals.

Three world-class championship golf courses are less than ½ mile away at the Grand Traverse Resort.


It's located 40 miles east of Sleeping Bear Dunes, named by Good Morning America as "The Most Beautiful Place in America" in 2011 and named the #1 thing to do by TripAdvisor.

On-site shuttle service and transportation to and from Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and Turtle Creek Casino!

Not what we expected
The condo was dated, rooms very small, we took this property because of the potentially beautiful views of Lake Michigan. They were there, however, there was a big swimming pool which we didn't have access to directly in front of our master bedroom and living room, with bright lights that stayed on all night long and made it very hard to sleep because the curtains didn't block much of the light. Shower heads need to be cleaned or replaced and some of the hardware on the cabinets is broken. We were disappointed that the owner didn't inform us of these issues or have an accurate listing and photos. We chose this property because of the potentially beautiful Lake Michigan views which were there, however there was a big swimming pool with bright lights that stayed on all night taking away from the view. The outside of the buildings and the grounds were well maintained and attractive.

beautiful place, a little low on cleaning
Beautiful location near the beach and nice cozy interior. We filled out the form that included we had 2 children coming. Our main reason of choosing here was the kitchen and reviews said clean. All of our feet and socks were immediately black the moment we took our shoes off. We stayed multiple nights, with no washer or dryer everything felt dirty. It was apparent they vacuum but no one mops the floor between stays. I tried to mop and there was no cleaning supplies to mop or use a bona type cleaner. I picked up the kids food from the floor and each time the towel was black from the floors. We couldn't use the kitchen sink, any time we did nats were everywhere landing on our food and beverages on the counter and kitchen table. We went out and bought bottled water. We found a shot glass inside the disposal. It was very apparent the place was not cleaned. Beds are super soft if you have neck or back issues. Upon arrival the balcany was not dusted off with brooms so there was spider webs everywhere. I get it's up north but a quick sweep removes them. One ply toilet paper. We received two emails that said we would get the code a few days upon check in. We did not. I messaged and called and received it 10 minutes before 4pm. It made it challenging to get the kids situated and unpacked after a long travel up north. Again, loved the view and access of kitchen but felt mislead by the cleanliness.

Overall this place is awesome! Great location and very helpful and friendly property manager. We had a very enjoyable stay. The only critique (and it’s small) would be the cleanliness. We had to vacuum and clean the floors as we have a small child that crawls and their hands and knees were getting dirty. If we didn’t have a small child it would not have been a noticeable issue. Otherwise it was a great and I would recommend.

Lovely condo in great location
My two cousins and I spent two nights in this lovely condo. It’s in a great location with a very large balcony with a beautiful bay view. It was very clean with a great floor plan. Friendly suggestions: the toilets could be higher ;handrails in the baths would be beneficial; and cushions are needed for the chairs on the balcony. Overall a lovely experience.

The property is beautiful! Such a great location....minutes to downtown Traverse City, and a walk out straight to the beach! My kids loved it! The pool/hot tub was not open and hasn't been for some time. I don't know ow that was very clear at the time I booked this, as the pictures on the booking site showed it to be open. But, we had some very beautiful weather days that allowed for some great beach/lake time. It was very convenient to have the kayaks, paddle boards, and other lake toys their for rent (reasonably priced). Some of the other amenities like the beach chairs, outdoor grill, fireplace was for the SPA guests only and/or closed as well, which was a bit of a bummer. But overall I would absolutely recommend to others and come back myself! It was a great stay!
