You won't lack for anything. There plenty of chairs and rooms from which to choose for some private reading/reflection time. The front porch is very welcoming and delightful. The staff is kind and helpful.

Beautiful hotel inside and outside. The room we stayed in was beautiful with a huge bathtub/fireplace. There’s no TV’s, coffee makers or refrigerators in the rooms. The second floor offers a coffee/tea station, huge TV, comfy chairs and many books to pick to read. The lobby floor also has a coffee/tea station and the restaurant.

Lovely place to stay in Petoskey, Michigan. It was our central location to come back to each evening after sailing in Traverse City, traveling to Mackinaw Island, or finding our way to Legs Inn through the Tunnel of Trees. We enjoyed the big porch, eating pizza with friends while we watched the sunset over the lake. Fresh cookies in our room daily! No room TV's to distract, but a nice game/TV/library room to use when you needed it. Also morning beverages available there if you were leaving before 8 AM breakfast. The wait staff and food were wonderful and we appreciated this beginning to 3 of our 4 days at Bay View. Lots of gathering space for our group of 8 friends who came together from Minnesota and California.

We loved this place! The room was beautiful with a wonderful jet tub, comfortable bed and big windows towards the lake. Would have been nice to have a cappuccino option at breakfast since the coffee was pretty weak. The table top Skittles game in the lounge was great. We would stay here again!
