Quiet, Peaceful & A Lovely Host
We had hoped to get to the property before an evening show we needed to attend. Delayed by the traffic, we arranged with Diane to come afterwards & she was very obliging. She showed us everything we needed to know. It's a good location, sort of in the middle of a lot of things. There are great places for kayaking, canoeing, hikingm dunes etc. We didn't have time to do too much but we did kayak the Platte River down to Lake Michigan. It is a LONG outing but really wonderful. We also went up to Traverse City & checked out The Village at the Commons & the Mercato. The buildings are retrofitted and full of new tenants since being a pyschiatric hospital. Really cool with several old buildings waiting to be reformed! It is a very quiet and cute place to stay. We saw in the guest book that many guests saw deer in the mornings, sitting outside. We slept in. :) But the stars at night were something else, coming from a big city. Definitely recommend staying here! PS The Roadhouse in Benzonia is great. But expect to wait forever if you want to eat outside. Copernish Kitchen & Coffee is a little place not too far that's inexpensive for a simple breakfast. Really lovely family owned place and one of the better cups of coffee we found. Not sure why but the coffee in Michigan was not great, in general. If you're particular about coffee, you might want to bring some of your own. Loved staying at Diane's trailer and would do it again!

Short weekend trip
We needed a place to literally sleep and shower as we were in town for a family reunion. Beds were comfy, water was hot. Diana was very responsive and helpful. We were on the go so much did not get a chance to just hangout at the camper and enjoy all the nature that the area has to offer. Check in was different- which is understandable as it is a RV and there are things one must know so plan to set up a little meeting with the host- not just a keypad like all of our previous VRBO trips

Peaceful
After five days of tent camping, this was a great spot to spend our last couple of days. The camper is an older model, but is quite cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. Just what we needed! Our host was very helpful and communicated with us throughout our whole stay. On our last night we relaxed in the outdoor seating area. While there we were treated with a visit from a doe with her two fawn. It was a prefect way to end our trip.

We absolutely loved our stay in this quaint and cozy trailer. It was a serene setting and we enjoyed sipping our morning coffee in the screened tent. We also loved watching the chickens nearby. Owner Diana is an absolute gem, very friendly, gracious and knowledgeable about the area and activities. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean, cute, comfy place!
We have a great stay every time my Sis and I come here. Trailer is very cute. And always clean, and has what you need for a comfortable stay. Diana is really sweet, and hospitable and is eager to help us in any way. We have become good friends. Short pretty drive to Beulah were we grew up visiting as kids. Private pretty spot, we see deer everytime. We will be coming back once a year. Also very reasonably priced. We love this stay.💜

What a perfect weekend!
Everything about the little camper was perfect for my little weekend getaway with my mom, even though it was cold and wet. Diana was so sweet and thoughtful, and turned on the heat for us when we were out late and it got colder. 10/10!
