"This is a magical place nestled near the entrance to the Daintree Forest. My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains. The wine and cocktail tastings every evenings are a great way to wind down the day, the meals were simply sumptuous - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had so much good food! "This place was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, any communication with the host prior to our stay as well as while we were there was always instant. They couldn’t do enough to help us, give advice or answer any questions. Definitely recommend"

"Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident"
