"Everything was as advertised and then some! Very clean, quiet and peaceful. I even bought some binoculars while I was in town just so I could soak in even more of the gorgeous view! Would have loved to have spent more time here but something tells me we'll be back."

Nearby restaurants (one right across street). Nearby lake which is very close to cabin. Museum downtown of local history and quaint stores downtown gracious host"

"It was an adventure crossing the creek after a lot of rain, but we made it! There was plenty of room for our family of 11. The host was very attentive to our needs. Not every family member was prepared for the rusticness, but we had a great time nonetheless. The area is just gorgeous!"

"I visited this property on a trip to the bourbon trail with 12 total people for two nights and it was everything we could ask for. There are a lot of options for sleeping and the Rec Barn is a lot of fun. The proximity to a lot of the distilleries was a selling point as well. Overall, it was a great time, and the communication from the host was fantastic."

Really enjoyed being able to take my dog on a walk through the woods. We spent many hours around the firepit in the backyard. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Nice and private. Nice yard and fire pit. Very clean. The pullout bed is rough sleeping...be nicer if some kind of thin rollout foam cushion to throw on top. Upstairs bed is comfy with low ceiling. Didn't have any dish soap left, no chocolate for s'mores (was in ad or wouldn't mention). No wood for fire. We purchased those 3 items and was too windy to have a fire sadly 😥. On the whole we were very happy and had a nice time. Host was great!"

"Great location right in the heart of the Bourbon Trail! The property was very clean and offered amazing views and such a unique experience. I woke up to the most gorgeous views every morning. We were able to have a front row view to watching horses train and do a private bourbon tasting on property. Vintage setting with all modern amenities. The space was more than enough for us to bring more friends along next time - cause they’re will be a next time!"
