Best Resorts in Two Rivers

"The hotel appears to have been a nice property at some point, but isn’t currently being kept in that condition. There are many broken and damaged items- tables in the lobby, elevators & rooms. The rooms were dingy with missing light bulbs in lamps and no luggage racks. The kitchen sink faucet was dirty and loose, the tub surround had mold in the cracks and a dirt ring in the tub. The desk help puts out a “care less” vibe when concerns are voiced. The amenities listed say breakfast included, however that was not the case. There was an average breakfast buffet for $22. Overall it was an unimpressive stay and not the “above average” accommodations listed on Hotels.com where we booked."

"The room we had was very close to a door. It also had a recliner which was perfect for my husband who has a bad heart and needs to keep his feet up. It was warm enough considering how cold it was outside. Plenty of hot water when we needed it to take showers. Staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Everyone at Hampton was friendly and helpful, and the free airport shuttle is a big plus in minus 20 weather. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice. Free breakfast was a great perk, as it would have been a chilly walk to get to another restaurant nearby. And the coffee station is always available. Hampton is also on the list of places that will pick you up to go look for the Northern Lights, so that was convenient. My main gripe: since we didn't have a car, I was looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool and using the hot tub. But the pool was not working, so they closed the whole area for all 4 days. I read another review about the pool being closed for many days and I suspect it may have been closed for a while, so beware if that's a big draw for you. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."

"There were a lot of problems with the stay: 1. No room service. We stayed for 4 days here. They did a very basic room service (only swapped towels / took out the trash) on one of those days. Even on that day, they just left the room door ajar after doing the room service. Luckily nothing was missing. Rest of the days there was no room service, even after asking the front desk for it. 2. Not enough engine chargers in the parking lot. This is problematic if you go aurora hunting, and come back late. We didn't find chargers 3 out of the 4 days we were here. 3. We paid extra for the room with the jetted tub, but didn't end up using it because it was filthy. There was some gross brown gunk coming out of the jets."

"Rooms clean, very spacious, parking easy. It was like having a whole apartment. Not fancy but very accessible, would be great for an extended stay."
