A little bit of paradise

I would highly recommend Kamandalu. I stayed here 14 years ago & was so impressed that I purposely chose to come back. The staff are top notch...so attentive to your every need & it shows in all the details. Our villa was like a little bit of paradise in this tropical setting. The restaurant on site was wonderful & offered delicious choices with attentive staff. Our room featured a deluxe bathroom complete with an indoor shower and an outdoor shower with a separate tub. We had our own outdoor daybed on a private patio. The view over the thatched roofs was delightful! I don't travel to this part of the world often, but Kamandalu would be my choice everytime! Just top notch!

This resort was beautiful. I just think that the services offered at the resort was a bit overpriced compared to other resorts in Bali offering the same service. I loved the property and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay and just recommend that they review pricing for services offered. I highly recommend, it's very clean and very comfortable. Staff at breakfast went out their way to make sure I was happy and didn't need anything. I do think they could offer more options for breakfast though.

Beautiful ground with friendly staffs. The property is very clean and the surrounding is tranquility with the view. food is really good for breakfast and dinner. We like staying at our bungalow with private pool and out door cabana with daybed. Complimentary drinks and canapés in the evening. Free yoga in the morning on the canyon above the river. I would definitely stay there again. If you need a place to relax and unwind, this is the place. It’s not far from the village center of Ubud.

Over priced for offerings

Liked the hotel itself. Very remote and quiet. However I felt like the hotel is overall very overpriced. The villas did not have any view and only the infinity pool had one. I would not go back to this hotel if I were stay around ubud. I think you can find a better hotel around this area. Room dining food was just alright and very underwhelming. The staff were very kind. Overall it was just okay.
