"The Unit was top-notch! New furniture inside and out and has all of the amenities a family or group could want or need. Enjoyed being able to sit outside (90 degrees was a little odd for October) and enjoy the view of Mille Lacs Lake.The only draw back was that the Izatys Resort was closed. Golf shut-down for the season, even though fall is the perfect time is golf! Restaurant/Bar was closed for the season, no Resort amenities available. Make sure to enjoy the surrounding areas and towns - so much to see."

"Quintessential lake vacation. Pools were very nice. Billy- from the beach cabana answered all our questions and had great stories. Beach and docks are accessible and fun. Too windy to use one of the various boats available. Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty with friendly servers. Room in the lodge was basic but nice. Great for families or a get away."

"Our family had a great time at the hillman house. We enjoyed the floor hockey, paddle boards and boat, fire pit and play fields. Was clean and well stocked! Thank you!"

"Due to the harsh Minnesota seasons, I was a bit leery that the cabin might be weather worn. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sound and clean it was both inside and out.We stayed 2 days and nights and the weather was absolutely perfect. It was a bit dry and breezy, so we didn't have a campfire at night, but otherwise we took advantage of everything Vrbo listed that the cabin had to offer.The host was very prompt in answering my questions and was very welcoming. If you are looking for the city nightlife, dancing or "bar hopping" this is not the place for you. But... "if you want to get away from it all" to relax in a private, peaceful setting, I definitely suggest you take a look at this property. "
