A estrutura do hotel é nova, moderna e excelente. Mas falta cuidado no atendimento. O hotel optou por contratar funcionários muito jovens, provavelmente sem experiência e sem treinamento adequado. The W Punta Cana is a beautiful resort. Enjoyed our swim out room. Room was beautiful, clean and very large. For those interested in swim out rooms, it is not connected to the main pool and you cannot swim out to the swim up bar. We actually enjoyed a more private spot to ourselves. It was a great room to have as one of the main pools was closed for a private event for one day. Enjoyed room service as it is included in your all inclusive package. Restaurants are delicious! The rooftop restaurant is such a beautiful spot! Wish this spot was open more often and for more time of the day. It looks like a spot for a day time party/brunch. We did not partake in the sushi. We heard rumors people were getting sick, so we did not chance it. We did not get sick from any of the restaurants. The Noodle Bar was our favorite! Food is very delicious! They have great bar tender in there! She’s very attentive! The beach restaurant was nice, but you do pay extra for some dishes. Living room bar is hit and miss. The bartenders seem overwhelmed even with just a handful of guests. The coffee shop was a nice touch as it had snacks, quick grab and go bites and PLENTY of water. The speakeasy was more of a club experience. For a W and Marriott nametag, I expected more from the staff. They were nice, opportunities to be more attentive and more organized are certainly there. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely time. Would potentially go back, but I would explore other resorts first.

Overall, this is a great hotel. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely courteous. Architecturally, the property is stunning, and it’s kept spotless every single day. The spa is a must—skipping it would honestly feel like missing part of the experience. The food overall was good, though Scena wasn’t our favorite. That said, we tried all the restaurants, and that one just didn’t stand out to us—others might feel differently. If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting with top-tier amenities, this is definitely the place. The adults-only atmosphere is a big plus. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth visiting. If you want a super detailed breakdown, this isn’t that—but if your goal is to relax, unwind, and enjoy a well-maintained, upscale hotel, just book it.

The property itself is beautiful, and the food was consistently good, and it is very easy to get a spot by the pool, which made for an enjoyable overall experience. That said, the service could be a bit inconsistent at times. There were several corporate events during our stay that limited access to certain restaurant spaces, and the rooftop was closed for private events on two out of five nights. We also encountered a few minor room issues, such as a leaking shower door and patio doors that didn’t seal properly. Additionally, the app frequently changed restaurant hours, which made planning meals somewhat challenging. Overall, I would rate the stay a 6.5 out of 10. With a few improvements to service consistency, communication, and room maintenance, this property has the potential to easily be an 8 out of 10 experience.

Our stay at the W Punta Cana was far from ideal. While the property's design is beautiful and fitting of a luxury hotel, our group of ten experienced severe health and hygiene issues. On our last day, five people in our party suffered from severe diarrhea; we strongly suspect that the freshness or quality of the food was compromised. Furthermore, six members of our group broke out in red rashes, and five people sustained numerous bite marks that strongly resemble bedbug bites

W is a kind of action party vibe brand with music speakers and noise everywhere, even at the “quiet” pool. Not somewhere if you want tranquil relaxation. Building is a deep. V to the sea so ocean view is a side view. Non ocean view rooms look on to neighbouring vegetation. Chef is a highlight - food high standard in all restaurants though perhaps would become limited after a while. Some really great members of staff - others still learning.

The property was very clean and the place has a few activities to do but I felt like the staff wasn’t very knowledgeable on any recommendations if you wanted to step off the resort. They don’t have a taxi service either where to call. Sometimes you ask a staff a question and 5 other staff get involved to figure things out. They almost charged double for my sister small stay. Better and propped hospitality training needs to happened here. Also there was a bartender that seemed bother or spaced out whenever I would ask for a drink. I’m not sure if I would come back here.

We had an amazing experience here as three girlfriends on a Birthday getaway. I was many times in Punta Cana and officially this is the first time I have actually enjoyed the food here! Recommend this hotel for sure. Talking about staff we received an excellent from Andy (arrival), Carlos(Scena restaurant) and Alta Gracia (Spa).They were sweet, helpful and professional. But do not book excursions with Camilo. We had a very shady experience with him. Room are great too. huge beds and amazing shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms by Davines.

Went here for a quick solo getaway, and it was completely relaxing. The staff was really nice, and they did everything to make my stay even better. The spa is incredible, definitely book an appointment and enjoy the facilities. The food in the restaurants was pretty good (sushi restaurant was the best). Only bad thing was that my shower had a bad smell, but it didn’t ruin the experience overall. Shout out to Nova (entertainment), super cool guy! Would definitely go back.
