The staff in this hotel goes the extra 1,000 miles to be helpful and kind. The hotel is fun, the food is great and the location cannot be beat. Will certainly return.
This is my second time staying here and it was once again a great experience! DuPont is the life of DC and I needed to be in the middle of it! This time the pool was open and such a relaxing spot after a day of touring the Capitol!! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay amazing!
The staff have been great! The location gives you the ability to step away from the craziness of the National Mall and Downtown. Very close to the DuPont Circle Metro for easy access to anywhere in the city and beyond!
Highly recommend this accommodation.
Rooms were clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. Our room was a little warm and humid. We told the front desk and they gave us a fan for the room and that was a lifesaver. The pool was a great place to cool off after being at the national mall all day. My only real complaint would be that there was no ice bucket in the room and nowhere to get ice. Other than that, it was an amazing stay.
My favorite hotel in DC. Staff is exceptional, Tina, Baby, Danny, Reyna and the housekeeping staff make every visit wonderful. The restaurant and the coffee shop are top notch. Best value and experience in DC!
The hotel room was spacious and clean. The location was great and I had a great salad at the hotel restaurant. The hard part was that the hotel changed over from the Generator Hotel to the Rendale Hotel with new management during the weekend that I stayed there. There was confusion.

Very clean rooms and staff at front desk especially Tina are very helpful in accommodations and making your stay feel like home. I will make Generator Washington my first choice every time i visit DC and recommend for anyone who is going to visit DC.
Location was great, and the room was lovely. Of course, there was no hot water during our stay, but they comped our on-site parking and provided us with a kettle to heat up water for showers. Appreciated the service despite the water situation. Would definitely stay again!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. It's a very walkable area. The morning baristas were very kind and great coffee or breakfast made right in your hotel lobby. That's a bonus in my book! We would book again.
The room was great for the money it had everything we needed. Can be noisy at time but had ear plugs so not a problem. We carry then in every hotel now as you never know. It was an ideal location for the event we were attending.

I found the bed and bedding comfortable and the shower quite good! Hot water came up to the 9 th floor sink & shower quickly and consistently. Drinking glasses and a coffee maker were missed items, typically found in hotel rooms at this price point. The lobby is bright and welcoming but the decor of the hallway leading to my room was sort of dark and dreary and could use some brightening up. Overall, a good convenient choice.

I arrived at the front desk and was given a key that did now work. Had to get down and get a working one. Was charged $30 extra at checkin for nothing. The room was at 81 F! Had to go down again and ask for someone to come up and turn on the A/C. There was no regular bed in the room, 4 bunkbeds!!! Location of the hotel is great.
