Great staff. Always friendly and accommodating. Very nice lobby and public areas. Was able to check-in early. We had minor issues and they were attended to promptly. Never had a hotel react so quickly before. Breakfast was excellent. We used the breakfast area for carry-in dinner several evenings. Pull out bed was not comfortable though; we used an air mattress we brought with us. Overall would highly recommend.

The location is very conveinant. Right around the corner was the Metro station... I walked to the State Capital daily. It was also safe walking in the evening. The room was very nice and clean. One funny thing...I had a hard time with the automatic door. Normally when we place the keycard to the reader... how do you open the door??? you push the door lever DOWN... right? hahaha so I went downstairs to report to the staff... 1 out of 10 tries... the door would latch and I am able to open. (Staff was exceptionally nice!!!) The nice lady at the front told me.... oh you have it wring.... after you tap the card... you need to lift the door lever upwards! hahahahahahaaha OMG. never done that before.... I thanked her.. went upstairs and tried the door. Sure enough.. after you tap the card and you lift the lever upwards.. the door opens! hahahaha Breakfast was delisciuous. Overall I would definately stay here again! I like the locatrion and conveinance.

The hotel is near to a lot of places where you can visit; my family and I walked around a lot because they were nearby the hotel. We loved the food, especially the breakfast, and they even gave us lunch on Labor Day, which wasn't included in our stay. The staff is very friendly, and it's very clean. The pool is perfect for kids. Overall, a great stay if you're planning to visit Washington with your family/friends.

The Residence Inn was a great location for us. Our trip was primarily to visit the Museum of the Bible and the US Capitol building area. This location was perfect for that, being only a block away from the MOTB, and only a 10-15 min walk from the capitol and the mall area. However, it was also only a block from the metro station and this proved to be very helpful, as we took the metro each evening to dinner or wherever we were going. So, if you're flying to DC you can just stay here and get to most anywhere you want without a car. Which is good, because parking here is $60/day! The room was a great size and feel, and the bathroom and shower nice and clean and functional. The lighting was nice most of the time in the bathroom (what i would call dim mood lighting), however if you wanted to do something that needed good light, like makeup, it was not possible. I would recommend the hotel install additional lighting and provide the two settings (mood lighting, and functional). The hotel breakfast was great, and I would highly recommend. Also, there was a room where we could keep our luggage on the day we checked out so we could be in Washington most of the day and not have to worry about luggage, which we very much appreciated. This hotel met all our needs perfectly and we were sad to leave it.

Everything was great. Parking is very expensive though, we were able to find street parking for our needs but that would not always be a possibility. Be aware about the parking before booking as it can dramatically raise the price of the stay.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had an accessible room with a drain in the center of the bathroom floor and the water went all over the bathroom whenever you took a shower we told the front desk but it didn’t appear that there was anything that could be done too correct this all in all it was a good stay. Breakfast was excellent. They had everything you could think of to eat unfortunately, we were in the business district and there was very little around for dinner restaurants most places closed by 7 PM and the hotel did not have anything available. Once breakfast was done. We did enjoy the fact that we were right around the corner from the museum of the Bible, but we ended up using Uber to get to the national mall and other museums naturally because it was hot in August and we were on our feet all day. The pool area was OK nothing exceptional and during summer vacation of course there were lots of kids in the pool.

Expedia sold me a room that didn't exist and the staff knew about this, I wasnt the first person it happen to. Over charged for a room I wasn't provided. Parking is ridiculous, especially if you have a big vehicle, pool water could have been cleaner. Breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was excellent and staff was amazing. The door to my room was challenging to open (pulling up was the only thing that consistently worked, and it would frequently put the lock out unexpectedly so that the door wouldn't fully close). Staff were very attentive to issues, but the ice maker didn't work initially, the temp control was inconsistent and I was initially double billed for parking (one on each room). Beds are on the harder end which wad good for my back. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This property was in a great location and overall, we really liked the property, but the first night we arrived we were out in a handicapped room (not our preference). I woke up to go to the bathroom and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. We did ask to change rooms and eventually the request was accommodated but it took awhile.

Hotel was very convenient to The National Mall, Property was Clean and well maintained. Only complaint was A/C would not drop below 71 degrees. Entrance to garage was very tight even for cars. Breakfast was best free breakfast of any hotel we have stayed at. Staff was excellent and very attentive to every need (Except A/C Issue). Would highly recommend.
