Taken at sun set from the Ski Beach of Waskesiu Lake, Prince Albert National Park on May long weekend. The ice was just starting to break apart but was still strong enough to walk out a bit. By early June, the ice will be off, but rarely is the water warm enough for swimming until July. #nationalpark #goldenhour #bestof5

We arrived at the resort and turned out they were permanently shut down, however this still accepting bookings through all online platform. When you attempt to call there is no mention that they are closed. This is great recipe to ruin someone's vacation.

What a great escape!! Could not have picked a better spot! Cozy wood fireplace, unimpeded view of the lake, well equipped kitchen, quiet and peaceful. Owners touched base to make sure all was good. Great hosts!!
