  • Secure garden and Off road parking for 2 cars. 3 bedrooms - one double, one double plus a single bed and a single room which is downstairs. The bathroom is upstairs. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. Television with DVD player, Full central heating and electric log effect fire. Only 2 miles from Whitby and Sandsend. Next to a small Alpaca farm. Open views over farmland. Cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. WiFi connection recently added.

We enjoyed our stay here.The property was clean and tidy and it's a real bonus that it's well within walking distance of the park and ride into Whitby.The garden was a real bonus too and we'd definitely stay again.Many thanks to our hosts.

4th time we have spent a holiday here, always clean, ample car barking, dog friendly and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Have always enjoyed spending time here and lovely outside space to sit and enjoy the sun.

This is a lovely, spacious cottage on a property with several other holiday houses and the owner's place. It has a spacious garden and is very peaceful. Nice views of the surrounding fields and the owner's alpacas. It's a good location, near to Sandsend which has a great beach and nice cafes. It is a few minutes drive from the beach and though the distance is walkable the road is very narrow so I'd be nervous walking with young children.

Overall the property was as described, but without being too negativen the main faults we found were as follows...Internet may as well not have been there, Spider webs in lots of locations, metal Beds contributed to lack of sleep, Foisty smell in bedrooms, especially the groung floor one, hence maybe the fly killer spray that overpowered you on entry, The plus sides were,,,,, Alpacas were a bonus, as were the free Milk and Eggs, we loved the rural setting and the quiet location. Would we stay again, probably not..
