"The hotel was decorated so beautifully for Fall. I wanted to sit in from of the lobby fireplace and read a book.. was so cozy. Staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. Breakfast had so many great options and the coffee was hot and delish. I will definitely go there again… hopefully soon!"

"This property was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I were looking for a cozy fall getaway, and this cabin was exactly what we needed. Between the hot tub and the sauna, we stayed warm while enjoying the cool, crisp autumn air. One of our favorite moments was stargazing right from the hot tub — it was magical. We did notice that the jets turned off after a while and didn’t come back on, which might be a small malfunction, but it didn’t take away from the experience.Listening to the swans flap their wings and call out over the water was truly breathtaking. The cabin itself was perfect for taking in the view. We loved the setup — especially pulling the mattress down from the loft so we could relax and watch TV before bed. The Fire Stick made it so convenient to log into our streaming services.One tip for future guests: I’d recommend bringing a pair of “indoor” shoes, as there were quite a few Asian beetles that made their way inside. A few even crawled on me while I was sleeping!Reading the guest book and seeing stories from previous stays was heartwarming and made us even more excited to return. Thank you for sharing such a special space with us! "

"We had a wonderful time! The cabin was exceptionally clean and has all the amenities you can ask for! The kids caught a variety of fish right off the dock, and loved having the big loft to themselves at night. Lots of wonderful memories made."

"Our group of five good friends came to Detroit Lakes to “Troll Hunt” and visit with another group of nine girlfriends at a cabin nearby. The location was excellent for us as it was about halfway between both activities. The Farm House was VERY roomy and perfect for relaxing in the morning and for playing games and visiting in the evenings. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!Some of my friends thought they felt “spirits” in the house and one swears she saw a woman rush by her in the bedroom on first floor. (But that particular friend does have a very vivid and active imagination - and maybe had a little too much to drink?!!!) Could use some grab bars for getting in and out of the very high bathtub up stairs, but super nice to have THREE bathrooms!!"
