"The staff at the Hampton Inn was gracious and welcoming. We brought our dog and they couldn’t have been more kinder and welcoming."

"We had grandparents (75yr), parents (50yr), young adults and teenagers (17-21) and a dog. Everyone had something to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did canoeing, swimming, boarding, fishing, crabbing, biking, sunbathing, we had S’mores, watched marvelous sunset, played card games. The dog had the most fun by chasing squirrels and rolling in the mud. He did not get to do this at home. My parents came to visit me from Bejing China. They had a good time talking with Rob and their grandkids. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We hope to come back again!"

I asked if there was some big event in town, they did not know. It was only in the morning of my first stay that the morning clerk was able to tell me that the EagleMan race was that weekend. "
