“I booked a weekend stay here for my wife and I for our 30th anniversary. The house was amazing. There has been a lot of effort put into its decor which adds plenty of character to this historic hosue.Its very warm and welcoming. We were greeted by Holly upon our arrival she made us feel comfortable immediately. She prepares a continental breakfast every morning that sets the bar for how others should be.( everything was delicious)There are plenty of areas to hang out comfortably inside as well...

“The property was nice. The scenery was very inviting and relaxing. The queen room was nice, all the charm and character of an old home was present. Breakfast consisted of a hot prepared meal, was delicious. The inn keeper was not very welcoming and inviting. When we arrived, instantly he was very grouchy and complained about how we booked the reservation. It was very off-putting. The next morning he did not acknowledge us when we said, “good morning.” It doesn’t take much to be pleasant...

“This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.”
