"Cabin was very clean and modern, while keeping the log cabin feel. Owners have thought of everything, with little touches all over the place (seating by creek on trails, buckets to carry wood, life jackets for the boats, etc.). Offering the wood for purchase (honor system) was also a great perk. We caught many fish at the lake, saw all kinds of interesting animals (giant turtle, woodpeckers, owl). Truly a wonderful place!"

"Overall our stay was great. Getting the key was a bit different as the lock box that it was in would not open. The back door was open so we entered that way. Never were able to get the key out. Water was amazing and warm and clean. Would stay again as it was just what we had hoped for."

"Older cottage. Cleaned up and remodeled bath with new shower. Enclosed porch that can have windows opened while the cottage can stays closed up and ac on to keep it cool. Clean cottage, linens and bath towels all provided and clean. Grill out by lake propane makes a nice area to have a cook out on small patio area. Internet was a little slow and maintenance had to reset it once. AC unit a little undersized fir the job on 90 degree days. Nice little cottage overall. Would stay there again if...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin in the woods!!! Tommy let us check in early again this year (and we really appreciate it) so we were able to hunt Friday afternoon. Once again the cabin was clean and ready to go for our stay. Tommy met us at the cabin and got the pellet stove started (which is really cool by the way). The cabin is so secluded that all you hear are the birds!!. The cabin was great and the hunting was excellent also. we will definitely be booking this place for next...

"From the pictures it looks as though you can fish the river right from your site. If you plan on fishing here, I recommend bringing your own boat. Fishing right from your site is not ideal. I do not have anything bad to say about the place or the staff. Just not what I was hoping for as far as fishing."

"Our family needed to come to town for a celebration of life for our friend’s son. Instead of us all getting hotel rooms out of town we stayed here. It was absolutely perfect for us all. Spacious and comfortable with great views. The hosts communicated wonderfully and were very accessible. Highly recommend to others looking to stay in this area!"

"The house is so cute, and the beds and rooms are wonderful, but it was much smaller than the pictures indicated and it was not stocked as well as others that we stayed in. We struggled to find a lot of basic things. The appliances were TOP notch, the view was amazing, overall, it was a great stay."
