The house is in an excellent location, in the city centre, on the riverbank and yet not very noisy. Looking out of the windows towards the river is a pleasure in itself. It has very good parking right next to the house with a permit arranged by the owners. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes and cooking utensils etc., The only drawback is that there are quite a few stairs so it might not be suitable for people with mobility issues. We were 3 generations of one family and we spent a very enjoyable week there.

Great location and wonderful owner. Only issue for me was the bed was very hard on my back and hips. Needs more cushioning and better pillows… could just be me though. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stay.

Excellent location for walking around York seeing the sights. Comfortable bed, lots of space. Very clean. Drains in bathroom very slow. Kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dishes. Quiet location on the river. Excellent communication with Patrick. Highly recommend for your stay in York.

Home away from home

This was such a nice property for our family of 5. The location was excellent and everyone had lots of space. The view was great, especially at sunrise.The hosts communicated well and the property was even better than we expected. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay. Home fully stocked with everything you could need. Patrick communicated well and had all ready. Great location right on the river and steps fro river cruise and bars/restaurants/Shambles. Highly recommend.
