Flores Adults Only Vacations

The check in procedure at Meruorah was less than desirable. There was not enough staff to accommodate the many people checking in and at one point all 3 front desk staff walked away from there position without ever greeting the waiting guests or saying something like we'll be right back. Requesting anything from the room was another issue. I dialed the front office, reception, room service and finally housekeeping. It was only until after dialing the 4th try, that housekeeping answered. This happened on multiple occasions and no one from front office or reception ever answered the phone, only housekeeping. The breakfast was less than desirable mainly from the point of view that the staff didn't seem attentive enough to remove empty plates in a timely fashion. The girl cooking the eggs really needs to be retrained. Whether it was omelettes or hard fried eggs she managed to never cook them thoroughly and they were always liquid and runny inside which eventually led me to getting really sick. No management ever seemed present except on one day when there were banking officials having a breakfast event and of course management was in visible attendance and all the staff were standing at attention delivering amazing service. The checkout was another disaster where once again there was not enough staff. You have to make a line to check out with people checking in so it takes forever, why no key dropoff. This is unnecessary and of course no management in sight as usual to assist.

Great small resort with all the staff very very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and with lots of variety and prices we good value for the quality We would love to come back another time

Its an amazing resort which offers so many activities. We didnt feel like leaving the hotel at all. They offer water sports and other great activities. The staff is really nice and helpful.

I stayed here with my son last week. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in town close to great places for dinner and tour bookings. The hotel is very clean and neat with an incredible view of the harbour from the pool area. The hotel staff are SO lovely and helpful. We had to order breakfast online each day and indicate the time. They do make up breakfast boxes if you have an early tour, we had a small mishap with this so double check your order at reception the night before. Room was terrific, on the smaller side but nice and clean with small balcony. WhatsApp is a good way to communicate with reception as there isn’t a phone in the room. Great air conditioning. A number of steps up the front of the hotel, but porter always on hand to help with bags. Overall we loved the place and if we returned we’d stay here again. Try the Italian restaurant next door👌Our photos won’t upload, but the place has a light and airy feel with natural tones and Italian vibes.
