Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at 11:00 AM and again at 11:30 AM, completely disrupting my rest. On top of that, the 6-digit access code repeatedly malfunctioned when trying to exit the building and parking areas. It’s a great property, but management urgently needs a centralized communication system.

Best choiche of you are attending an event at Gallagher centre, which is really at walking distance. My room had the heating not functioning, but I was given another room quite fast. The gym has old equipment but is big and very complete, so a big plus. The only thing that some people might found difficult is that there is some walking distance from the room to the breakfast room. I did not mind it, the weather was very good, but with nasty weather it might be difficult.

Pase la noche al llegar a Johannesburg antes de tomar otro vuelo el hotel la primera impresión es excelente y el cuarto muy bonito. Pero cuando me quise hacer un té, la tetera estaba enlamado el fondo. En la regadera había hormigas grandes. Espere más de media hora para que nos tomaran la orden en el restaurante y solo habíamos tres mesas. Muy bonito hotel pero mal servicio y no adecuado mantenimiento
