Our family of 4 enjoyed our first stay at this resort and we will go back. The service from staff was great all around the resort - the restaurants, the market, pool, the bar, front desk, housekeeping, room service, and drivers. Everyone was amazing and helpful. The rooms are a little dated but we didn't mind, the views more than made up for dated furnishings and decor. We cared most about the service and cleanliness of the resort. We enjoyed the access to the other two properties owned by the resort - Blanca and Rose. We utilized the daily shuttle service 4 of our 7 days at the resort to visit the locations to access the beach and Downtown Cabo. The reservation system was easy to use and convenient. The service provided by staff at each of the other locations was the same as sunset beach - amazing! One downside was the steakhouse didn't allow children under 16 in the restaurant.The age restriction seemed a silly. I can understand the concern regarding babies and toddlers who may not be able to sit through a long dinner, but our 12 and 15 year old can handle a dinner at a steakhouse, as I'm sure most children their age. The age restriction should be changed.
