We really enjoyed our stay at Hero Beach. The location is perfect - the beach is right across the street and town is less than a ten-minute walk. The beach loungers and umbrella were a great convenience. The hotel itself was clean and the room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were also lovely - we appreciated the firepits and lots of areas to hang out and relax. Was a little expensive, especially after Labor Day, but we really enjoyed the stay!

The room we received was extremely small amnd the beach didn't have a clear path to get to it. Oh well its a middle class hamptons experience so it was worth it. I would stay there again, if I can't find anything better for 100 dollars more per night. I would pay 100 dollars more per night for a better room at a slighthly nicer venue, but not more than that.
