Split Beach Vacations

The hotel is very well located and a very short walk from the beach. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are big. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Now the negatives- only one bottle of water provided at the beginning of the stay which is not replaced. I found this unusual for a 4 start hotel. The pool is nice but quite cold and to use the sauna you have to inform reception 30mins in advance. All in all a good stay but I would have preferred more variety in food at breakfast and at the restaurant.

I had a wonderful 12-day stay at this beautiful apartment! It looks exactly like the pictures—very modern, clean, and perfectly equipped. The hosts truly provided everything I needed, and they even came to clean the apartment once during my stay, which was a fantastic bonus. The host was incredibly nice and accommodating. The only minor thing missing when I arrived was a coffee machine (which isn't very common to have in Croatia). It was a bit inconvenient for me, so I reached out to the owner, and they went above and beyond by purchasing a coffee machine for my stay! Their quick response and exceptional hospitality made everything fine. Otherwise, everything was absolute perfection. The location is excellent—close to a beautiful beach and plenty of great restaurants nearby. I had a very pleasant time and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. We booked this property believing we were staying at a standard 4-star hotel based on its description on Expedia, but that was not the experience we had. I believe the listing should make it much clearer that access is difficult, especially for families with children or anyone traveling with luggage. There is only one very small elevator, and guests must first go to the third floor to check in, with no assistance whatsoever for carrying luggage. There was no bell staff, no doorman, and no one available to help. This made the arrival process extremely uncomfortable. I also do not believe it is fair to charge over €500 per night for a property that does not offer the level of service or facilities one would reasonably expect from a 4-star hotel. The positive thing was the location one block from the old town that’s beautiful.

Take note that I am reviewing based on the one that is on Building number 12 the promenade. There are a few establishments with similar sounding names. We booked the luxury suite with the terrace and sea view. Warning: there are a few sets of narrow stairs that you have to go up with your luggage. Other than that, the suite itself is amazing. Sime met us from the taxi stop and helped carry some of the luggages. He also gave us recommendations for our stay. We were celebrating our anniversary, and informed them about it, and they sure made it feel special. An issue I had was about the beach towels. We were there for four nights and went to the beach multiple days. When I asked for a clean set of beach towels for the next day, I was told that it was not possible. We had to use our already used dirty towels every day for 4 days! The view from the room and the terrace is amazing. You’re really close to the nightlife, if that’s what you choose to do, and also close to where you have to meet up for tours. This booking included breakfast from the Brasserie 7, which was amazing. I would recommend this place to stay.

Great location close to old town. I would not recommend this place to stay for the amount of money. The room was very basic with a view of some rubbish and a wall. We had multiple things go wrong. Someone opened our room door and let themselves in and turned on the light at 0750hrs even with the do not disturb sign on. We were not given our welcome bottle of wine until we asked for it and we were called and told to check out immediately on the day before our check out day because their system got it wrong. To their credit, the customer service manager did call and apologise and reasonably tried to make amends, however it should never have happened. A booking for a hotel is pretty simple. It should be noted there are 2 wings to this hotel and there is a good chance you will get the old section like us and they will ask 200 Euro a night extra if you want a better room. Keeping in mind it was over $600 AUD a night for the basic room we were given. The pool has a great view. It is made only for drinking as it is waist deep with tables. There are also only 4 lounges to uae for the entire hotel guests because it is catered as a bar, not a pool area. All things considered, we are very happy we moved to Villa Harmony for the rest of the stay and although it wasn't the worst place we have stayed, we can confidently say never again. Just not good value for money. Spend it elsewhere.

Excellent location for both ferry and bus terminal. Room was very comfortable with excellent aircon and was a short walk to Old Town area with restaurants and supermarkets nearby too. Staff communication was excellent with helpful suggestions on how to spend time in Split.
