Wonderful view and position. Helpful staff and good food. Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. Walking shoes and a good book!

Paid for a decent room, and have stayed in better hostels, at £644 for 3 nights you expect to be in a decent standard. Was eventually moved, and was like night and day with the two different rooms but the same class. The hotel is starting to look very tired, and needs a refresh especially the bathrooms.

In all areas the quality was high – housekeeping, food & drink, facilities and customer service. The staff have been well trained and consistently ‘live’ the Cameron House brand. The welcome was amazing, we turned up having toured The Highlands for a numbers of days, we were a bit ragged and therefore apologetic. The guy at the door, with a twinkle in his eye said: ‘don’t worry kid we get all sorts here’ – we felt instantly at home. The only downside was The Clubhouse. We booked in for dinner there on our first night but unfortunately the place lacked in the quality of service – maybe it was understaffed so we left. Returning to the main house site we went to the Cameron Grill which was excellent so all was well. This is why there is one star missing from our review which is a bit hard but correct. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

A lovely comfortable hotel, beautifully decorated. Our room was modern, very comfortable, cool and a big modern bathroom. Parking is free and right outside. Very good pool and gym

Nice shower clean room Would prefer pay as you go rather than a £ 50 deposit Not really tempted by the bar and breakfast as so much choice elsewhere.

Fairly basic but spotlessly clean hotel in the west end of Glasgow. 10 minute walk from the hydro which was perfect. Kelvingrove park is on your doorstep along with lots of places for food and drink. 25 minutes walk to the city centre or there are busses right outside.

The look of the entrance at street level is very poor, but please dont let that put you off... Once on the 6th floor, everything changes, its a great little hotel in a great location!
