7.8/10 Good! (2,400 reviews)
This is a very tired hotel that looks like it is being allowed to run down. We paid over $300 a night for the very best room and anticipated a premium stay. Instead we had a poorly maintained outside and a tired (stained couch, rusty balcony chairs, drains missing, not working microwave etc) room. It was big and had everything but it was not remotely premium or even average. The check-in experience was awful, people were showing up and told to wait and then at three a line was formed and it took a long time for everybody to process. There were many rooms ready. The desk attendants were under pressure and consequently abrupt and cheerless. Others later were more accommodating and helpful. After our stay, we left a message for the manager (no one answered the phone) hoping to discuss some redress for the poor condition and the high price, Our call was never returned. We feel we were victims of misrepresentation. We stay in tens of hotels every year and are veteran travelers who rarely complain but this was a very bad experience in terms of the value for our money! Even the breakfast was bad! We cannot recommend this hotel even though it has a good location and views and parking -- it is too worn out and downtrodden feeling.

Some parts of the room were good but there were things that were broken and should have been replaced.
