Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit, the property needs a refresh and fridges in the bedrooms (although one was supplied on request) No air con but that's normal for the UK. The room was clean and the sports bar was ok - spacious and quick service with pool tables and tvs to watch sport. Driving range and tennis courts were fun and there are outdoor spaces to sit and relax

Lovely staff, very helpful. Decent hotel, good location for golf and racing. Shame about the restaurant though. Disappointing starter of ‘succulent prawns’ and crab custard. Instead of prawns they used tiny shrimps and couldn’t taste any crab. We ordered two starters, but were told after ordering that that only had one left. Bearing in mind this was only at 6pm, I hope no one else wanted the same! They did deduct it off the bill however. We ordered chip with our mains but had to wait until halfway through before they arrived.
