This was the final hotel of a three-week road trip, and unfortunately, it was by far the most disappointing hotel of our entire trip—and one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in quite some time.
The room was mostly clean, but there were definitely areas that could have been better. More concerning was the overall condition of the property. The hallways and stairwells were dirty, including a Q-tip that remained on our stairwell landing for our entire stay. There was also obvious water damage that had not been repaired. These things might be easier to overlook at a budget property, but they are not what I would expect from a hotel marketed as four-star.
The customer service was equally disappointing. The front desk staff were less than helpful when we had an issue with our booking, and when we asked for suggestions for things to do in the area, they seemed uninterested in taking the time to help us.
For the amount we paid for a two-night stay, we expected a much higher level of cleanliness, maintenance, and service. After staying in numerous hotels over the previous three weeks, this was unfortunately the one that stood out for all the wrong reasons.
