We had a lovely stay at the Castle - the room was beautiful as was the food. The staff in the restaurant and those who welcomed us were amazing. Only disappointment was on check out we asked the history of the castle and were told by a very disinterested staff member to "look it up online"! We thought they would have been very proud to talk about the history and when it was built etc. Other than that we loved it!

The hotel is within a newly redeveloped area. It is new, but some nearby buildings are in disrepair.
The location of the hotel is good. Many restaurants and shops are within 5-10 mins walk. The staff are chill and helpful. The room is also comfy.

We were upgraded to a fancy room apparently which was on the 6th floor. We expected a great view of the city however we were disappointed to find no windows in the room. Very claustrophobic. Nice comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Grossly overpriced at £210 for the night for 2 of us. Far superior hotels in the city centre area at significantly lower prices are available. Won’t visit again. That about covers it.
