It is secluded in a very wooded area, nice pool area, great restaurant.

The location is great, directly across the street from the beach, and the hosts were very responsive. They sent a technician twice to address the hot water issue, although it was never fully resolved. This place is not really suitable for five people unless you're comfortable being very cramped. The double sofa bed felt like sleeping on plywood, and the twin bed was simply a mattress on the floor. The hot water was unreliable and depended on the pilot light staying lit, so showers were hit or miss. The two in one washer/dryer also left our clothes smelling rotten.

You can tell this property is aging and is in need of maintenance. Stains on furniture, fixtures rusting out. Over it’s a decent hotel and has potential but looks neglected. A bit overpriced. The location is great if you are going to Farmasi Arena for a show or event.

We loved our stay at the Penthouse. It was easy to get to everything, especially good food spots and the beach. Communication with David and Alessandro was excellent- they’re wonderful hosts. We were very comfortable our entire stay. Highly recommend to others.

Hola!! Si vas de vacaciones a Río el lugar para alojarte es “el Janeiro”. Creo que 5 estrellas es poco. Desde la atención, el servicio, la excelencia de su personal en cada una de las áreas, la mejor ubicación de todo Río y cada detalle demuestra que NADA fue liberado al azar en este hotel. MARAVILLOSO. Gracias, sin duda pronto volveremos.

La propiedad cumple lo q promete, primera linea de playa, acabados impecables y muy segura cerca de restaurantes y bares. Volvería sin pensarlo!

Beautiful place, with very friendly and helpful staff! We had a great time staying here, and the hosts were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and prepared specifically for us each morning, and we were given plenty of great recommendations and resources. We had unfortunate timing with some construction next door that was a bit noisy, but had a great experience otherwise!
