Slightly old world hotel with old fashioned decor but that's quite nice from the usual modern hotels. The onsen was good. Sauna was excellent too, especially having a TV to watch while sweating away. Breakfast was good too. It's great that the staff are attentive at breakfast but almost too much, hovering around and almost getting in the way. My only small request is that Japanese hotels all seem to say breakfast served 0700h to 1000h for example but actually start to close down 30 min or so before the end time. It's annoying and you should actually state 0930h as your closing time. It's common across all Japanese hotels so far, I've been to many now. Please stop this. I know you are keen to clear up but it's rather uncomfortable for your guests.

The lobby, restaurant, bar, and rooftop bar were great. The room was very clean but it needed a couple repairs in some things.

The hotel was great - very clean, nice rooms, delicious pastries and sweets in the lobby. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Lee and Ishii. Hotel was also a 2-minute walk from the central garden and not far from other things as well. Would definitely stay here again!

I was wowed. To be honest, pictures don’t do this justice. It’s a place you can get lost in- in the most beautiful way possible. It is the most scenic stay I’ve experienced to date. It inspires poetry and deep thought. It was my brilliant oasis. Thank you! My only qualms were the food- it was bit underwhelming for the price point; however, the dining view, opulence and careful care from staff made up for it a bit.
