Cayman Islands Kid friendly Vacations

My experience at Sunshine Hotel and Suites was more than great! The room was clean and spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed in the room, and the location was very convenient. There were plenty of food options nearby, and having access to the Westin across the way was a great added convenience. One thing I did not expect, however, was the $900 USD incidental hold required at check in, in addition to the resort fee. When booking through Expedia, I only saw the resort fee mentioned and did not see any information regarding the $900 hold. I believe this should be clearly included in the hotel’s policies and booking information to help avoid confusion or surprises for future guests. Aside from that, I was very pleased with my stay at Sunshine Hotel and Suites. The staff, accommodations, location, and overall experience made for a great trip, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

The beach was closed due to a huge amount of seaweed rotting on the beach, the smell was overwhelming, their solution was to bus you to the other side of the island to a public beach every day. I understand they can't help what nature does but they should have sent an email warning people, and offering to either refund their money or change their week depending upon the information. I have been going to that resort for many years, this time it was so rundown and filthy. I will never return.
