Room was very clean, no sand, no dirt on the floor knowing we were in and out with dirty feet and shoes. Room is very HOT pack a fan. Food was tolerable, nothing to brag about. Day to day staff was OK nobody went out of there way to please you except for our concierge Amanda, she was AMAZING. Views and location was great. Within walking distance to Mambo beach with plenty of shopping and restaurants

I would highly suggest the daily breakfast buffet but not the all-inclusive. This place is not a Cancun type all-inclusive. There are not people everywhere to get you a drink, ask you for a drink, and there are limited restaurants in the hotel. The walking distance to so many restaurants are close by and are excellent. I would highly suggest asking to stay on the second floor. The pool/infinity pool is off the second floor. The hotel has a weird design of long, similar looking hallways. The hallways are not very well marked on where things are located. Depending on what floor and place in the hallway you are, it might take several days to get used to where to go. There were several days where our room was never cleaned and it was 4:30-5:00. They were in the hallway but we just asked for new towels and we didn't want them to be cleaning at 6:00 at night. All the staff was very friendly. The tipping thing is weird since it is a Dutch country. Service charges are added to every bill automatically, whether in the hotel or out. We were told you don't need to tip unless you wanted to add extra. You will probably notice throughout town at restaurants or bars that the service fee is fine for what you get. They are definitely not jumping through hoops to earn a high tip. I would also recommend renting a car to hit the snorkeling areas and the other parts of the island. There is a car rental place right in front of the hotel. Very convenient.

This property is an amazing location overlooking playa Lagun. The couple managing the lodge were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant on site was very good. Don’t miss the Thursday night bbq. Amazing! The accommodations were simple but comfortable and functional. We had everything we needed! Can’t wait to stay there again!
