1/5 Stars – Absolute Scam, Do NOT Stay Here Not as advertised in the slightest! I booked this La Quinta Inn thinking it would be a decent, family-friendly option, but it was a complete disaster from the moment we walked in. First of all, the place smells terrible. It’s like a cheap Indian mini-mart that’s been doused in men’s deodorant spray in an attempt to mask the underlying musky, stale odor. The smell hits hard in the hallways and lingers in the room no matter what. Room service was nonexistent for 4 out of the 5 days we were there, and most of the basic amenities in the room (coffee, shampoo, toiletries, etc.) were empty or missing. Housekeeping told me he didn’t have a key for the room. The only reason we chose this place over the much cheaper options right next door was because it advertised a pool — perfect for our kids who were excited to swim. Expedia shows multiple pictures and descriptions of the pool. The pool key worked, there were clean towels stacked in the pool area, and there wasn’t a single sign saying the pool was closed or unavailable. As soon as we walked into the pool area, the hotel receptionist stormed over and kicked us out like criminals. When we pointed out the advertising and lack of any notice, she just shrugged and said “contact Expedia if you have a problem with it.” Zero accountability. Save your money and your sanity. This place is overpriced, poorly maintained, and straight-up deceptive about its amenities. Never again.
