What a lovely find in Wentworth Falls! Exquisite accommodation, beautifully restored residence. Lovely lounge to relax in, especially by the fire in the evening. Such a special touch. Nice to meet the other guests and chat. Lovely furniture and decorations, nice paintings and artwork throughout the residence. Breakfast was delicious, prepared to order and a perfect start to the day. Lovely morning walk down to the lake, easy walk (or drive) to restaurants. Check out Fed cafe for lunch. Lovely walks to explore around the Wentworth Falls picnic area (short drive). Thank you to Lew and Catherine for making our stay so memorable. We would love to return some time soon!

Unfortunately found a few black hairs in the shower and one in my bed

I honestly struggle a little to understand the extremely high rating this B&B has. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are very private and spacious, and I personally love older properties with character. However, in this case it felt like some areas were not just old, but simply in need of better maintenance. For example, the grout and finishing in the bathroom were quite worn. To me, that’s less about the age of the building and more about general upkeep. The ladies at the property were absolutely lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. The only downside was that we didn’t really get to choose our breakfast time. As the other couple staying there had already chosen 9am, we were given 8am. We had hoped for a relaxed morning and a bit of a sleep-in, so that was a little disappointing. That said, the breakfast itself was very good. We also did the wine tasting. Perhaps we just caught the gentleman on an off day, especially as so many other reviews speak very highly of the experience. Unfortunately, for us it felt a little impersonal. The same story seemed to be repeated at each table, and when we tried to ask questions, the answers were quite short. We had hoped for a bit more interaction and passion, particularly given how positively the wine tasting is described in other reviews. Overall, there were definitely things we enjoyed, especially the space, privacy, breakfast and the lovely ladies looking after the property. However, based on our experience, we personally didn’t feel it

I recently stayed here and found the experience to be fairly standard overall. The staff were courteous and the check-in process was smooth, and the location made it easy to get where I needed to go. The room had the essentials for a short stay and was generally comfortable.
