Champagne Luxury Vacations

Great breakfast and helpful staff! Perfect location in Reims

Lovely stay our room was amazing

Buena localización!

We booked for only 1 night and meet the expectation. Is close to the train station. The only cons is that is far from the attractions but is not a big deal.

Lovely stay our room was amazing

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and I’m sad to say I cant see a 4th now. Started off with the very unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist on arrival. Whenever I book, I then request parking, I have limited mobility and walk with a stick. We arrived and as usual, parked in the carpark. Upon check in, we were told to move the car. I explained that I’d requested parking on booking and her response was, “well show me that we agreed otherwise you need to move”. I’ve never had a response and it’s never an issue. She insisted we move to a public carpark up the street. Our room was on the 5th floor, to be fair the bed was very comfortable and clean, but the TV didn’t work and there was a terrible patch up job in the room that ruined the look. The bathroom: broken shower that didn’t stay on the wall, chipped bath and stained tiles. The toilet was separate and in the smallest room I’ve ever been in. When sitting, feet and knees touched the wall, couldn’t stand easily without banging your head on the wall and had to step out of the room to pull trousers up as no room to bend to reach them, not ideal! On our last night, we came home to find the lift out of order, 5 long floors, 96 stairs (my husband counted). I asked how was I supposed to get up to my room, same receptionist just glared and said it’s broken. No apology, no offer of moving to a lower room or help. I struggled up and again down the next morning when a different receptionist did at least apologise. Sad stay this time

When arriving the lights were off, doors locked and no instructions on how to check in. We found a number online and when we called we were told we had to go to another hotel to check in. Once we got the room key and went back to Cecyl, we had to walk through a construction site with screws on the ground, stacks and pieces of drywall where I had to pick up my large roller bag weighing 60 lbs and walk sideways through the corridor to get to the stairs because of all of the construction materials spread out all over the place. There is no elevator so I had to carry the bag up to the 3rd floor. Would never stay here again. Pay a little extra and stay at a different hotel.
